Re: Inbound emails - ignore autoresponders?
Is this something I could track somehow?
I need to skip implementation of this feature until that is done, so I would like to know about the progress

Re: Inbound emails - ignore autoresponders?
Understood, don't you think there should be one?
In a lot of systems you simply specify a list of phrases that if are in the subject - it will get ignored.
Think this could be an good improvement.

Inbound emails - ignore autoresponders?
Hi, I was just about to deploy the Inbound emails processing on our Nagios XI, but then I realized that during my tests Nagios also responded to autoresponders (saying that he can't find the hash or command) Is there any way of filtering this out? Or maybe there is something already implemented but ...

Re: Email Response Command - missing hash data
I think actually this was an issue caused by myself (notification preferences).
I am already on the 5.6.6 version - will test things again and if issues found - will let know

Re: Email Response Command - missing hash data
Looks like this worked for me! Thanks a lot! :) BTW - I have ACK mails disabled for all my users, but answering with ACK is generating an ACK email to all contacts of that host. Is this something that I can change somewhere? The mail says that this has been ack by Nagios Administrator. $hash = trim(...

Re: Email Response Command - missing hash data
Hi, I'm also running into problems with this feature. I allow myself to dump on the bottom of this message the reply I sent to nagios. I get Response Error, and in the logs it only says that it couldn't find a host object in the hash provided. So I modified the "/usr/local/nagiosxi/html/include...

Re: Backup Nagios XI server - setup
Sounds good for a start! AFAIR the restore will overwrite all files on the server, so it will re-enable monitoring and notifications again. How should I approach this? Would a copy of the restore script (/usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/restore_xi.sh) to a safe place (like some home directory) work? Or d...

Backup Nagios XI server - setup
Hi, I'm aiming at setting up an backup/test Nagios XI server in our environment. My idea is to: Clone the existing VM that the original Nagios XI server is running to an backup server in a different location On regular (automatic) basis download a fresh backup (generated by Nagios XI) from the origi...

FYI - my issue was resolved by removing the lock file.
Thanks!
