Re: Log server installed on same server as XI
OK well I've downloaded and installed the VMware instance and running that tells me that the /install is there to run through the final installation steps which we arent seeing - I guess due to an overlap of the two products. Re: activating free version license is not working
Are you using HTTPS by chance? You should be able to enter the word 'FREE' in to the license key section and press save.

Re: Monitoring jenkins Slaves
I don't appear to be able to get check_nt to take notice of ANY parameters after the name of the executable, even from the command prompt: Not a good sign. Which version of NSClient are you currently using? It's possible that a newer version might handle this kind of complexity better - I have only...

Re: Generate Report
If the volume of the email is included in the message received by Nagios Log Server, you can certainly generate graphs that show you the different sizes of your emails. The number of emails is more simple - are you a currently a customer? If so we could get a remote going - I'd be happy to help you ...

Re: How to process Websphere Application server/HTTP server
Please let me know how to proceed If your Linux and Windows websphere filters are separate, this is what your input/filter combination should look like for websphere: tcp { port => some_port type => 'websphere-app-logs' codec => multiline { pattern => "(^.+Exception: .+)|(^\s+at .+)|(^\s+... \...

Re: Generate Report
While there is not necessarily a 'report system' in place yet, it is being planned and will be included in one of our future releases.
In terms of visualizations, I need you to differentiate between 'Volume' and 'Quantity' for me before I can answer your question in full.

Re: How to process Websphere Application server/HTTP server
To get to this point, there were several adjustments that needed to be made. First of all, the workers for logstash needed to be turned down to 1, as previously mentioned: # cat /etc/sysconfig/logstash | grep LS_OPTS LS_OPTS=" -w 1" Be sure to include the 'space' before the '-w', to be saf...

The script is attempting a wget against the following files: wget -c http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/packages/Getopt-Long-2.38.tar.gz wget -c https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/agents/wmic_1.3.13_static_64bit.tar.gz If you want to install this manually, it wouldn't be very hard...
