Re: Threshold Warning and Critical - Wrong Information

Hello rpatricio,

So that we may be better equipped to diagnose your issue, please include the command definition (plugin) along with the argument list. And if possible, run the command in a terminal and post the results. Thank you.

Re: How to display more content in status column?

Hello xpertech, Perhaps I could have been more clear. The following command for a memory check will illustrate the point: [root@localhost libexec]# ./check_win -H 192.168.5.238 -t mytoken -m memory -w 80 -c 90 Warning: Physical Memory Total: 16248MB, - Used: 13694MB, (84%) - Free: 2554MB|'Physical M...

Re: host always shown down but services status is"ok"

Hello nagiossupport123, If the service checks for this host are returning the correct status information but the host cannot be pinged, there is clearly something preventing the ping command from returning packets. The fact that the Nagios server cannot be pinged from the monitored host either makes...

Re: threshold values for CPU Load Check

Hello vlakshman, It appears that you are entering the warning and critical thresholds as decimal numbers but the check command is expecting an integer. Ie: 0.9 instead of 90. Try running the service check with integer percent values and see if you get the expected result. Thank you for visiting the ...

Re: How to display more content in status column?

Hello xpertech, The specification for what is returned by a Nagios plugin is as follows: The plugin returns an exit code (0, 1, 2, or 3) followed by a line of text. The line of text is actually two elements of data, separated by a pipe character "|". The text before the pipe is the Status ...

Re: verification message not received from Nagiosxi

Hello Johnsmit, Navigate to Admin >> Manage Email Settings and look at the [Send Mail From] field in General Email Settings. This field needs to be set to an email address in the domain of your SMTP server. If that is not the case, your SMTP server will most likely refuse to relay the verification m...

Re: User permissions on Nagios directories

While in theory, the scenario you've described should work, there's no substitute for thorough testing to determine if things will work as expected.

Re: How to display more content in status column?

Hello xpertech, Nagios plugins return an integer exit code of 0, 1, 2, or 3 which represent a status of Ok, Warning, Critical, or Unknown, respectively. As such, it's not possible to display anything beyond those values as what you see in the web gui is simply an interpretation of the exit code. Let...

note : The storage engine for the table doesn't support repair nagiosxi.xi_auth_tokens These can safely be ignored as they are merely informational.
