Is your license only for one server? If so, then you'll need to contact sales@nagios.com to update your license. If it is a license for three servers then you can just add the new nodes to the cluster and don't have to update or activate the license on the new nodes.

We would not recommend installing anywhere other than the default location. Some components are hard coded to expect the installation at /usr/local/nagioslogserver. What version of XI is this? Similar behavior has been reported on 5.7.x releases so you may want to consider upgrading if you're not on the latest.

Feature requests exist for improving/adding reports but this would be done at the discretion of our dev team and we don't' have an eta.

You haven't missed anything actually. Only the predefined reports are available in NLS.
