Re: Upgrading OS (centos 6 =>7)

I could try that as well.

I will make the snapshot.

The VMDK is ova deployed, with an extra disk for data (1.5TB)

The directory is not changed, but it's on an other volume (second disk, so other vmdk).

That replacement is working for this filter: if [type] == 'syslog' and [message] =~ /.*Insight.*/ { grok { match => [ 'message', '.*Insight.*Auth.Username=%{USERNAME:user},Auth.Protocol=%{GREEDYDATA:protocol},Auth.NAS-IP-Address=%{IP:nas-ip},CppmNode.CPPM-Node=%{IP:cppm-node},Auth.Login-Status=%{INT...

Upgrading OS (centos 6 =>7)

Hello, What would be the best way to do an operating system upgrade? I thought it would be best to install a second instance and add it to the cluster, let it sync en tear down the first instance. Re: Notification for services for a specific host

Hello,

This will not work in all cases, as there are different contacts for the services on 1 host.
If a contact is defined on the service, I assume it will not inherit the contacts defined on the host as well.

Best regards,
Rob Hassing

Notification for services for a specific host

Hello, We have setup different host which share service checks. For example check_cpu. Would it be possible to send a service notification to a group of users for a specific host? For example we have a host in USA and a host in the Netherlands and both will have the same service check (check_cpu). I...
