Re: Check-Storege
From the CLI of the Nagios XI machine, can you share the output of an snmpwalk for the associated tree (replace 10.x.x.x with your host's IP): snmpwalk -mALL -v2c -cjawwal-snmp 10.x.x.x 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.3 Some drives simply cannot be monitored by the net-snmp agent. You might try adding the foll...

Re: Database Backend error: System Status NagiosXI
Can you share the output of the following command executed from the CLI of your Nagios XI machine: service ndo2db restart And see if that gives a green checkmark for the status? If it doesn't, can you run the following commands: sed -i 's/debug_level=0/debug_level=1/' /usr/local/nagios/etc/ndo2db.cf...

Re: Getting information from Nagios
I assume you're talking about these? https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagioscore/docs/nagioscore/4/en/macrolist.html The Nagios macros are evaluated when Nagios Core executes a given command. So if you wrote a Perl script that accepts certain arguments (a path, file, warning/critical thresholds, ...

Can you share the screenshots of each step of the configuration wizard you are using? Something might be getting mixed up.

Re: Nagios Core 4.3 - Native remote workers
That project has been pushed back a bit. @bheden was actually busy cloning himself to help prepare Fusion 4 for release:

I don't currently have an updated time on which the remote Core workers will be available.

Re: Add user form ad not working for ou's with many users.
There are some issues with getting results from AD when there are more than 1000 total results returned: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa746459(v=vs.85).aspx Essentially, AD returns results greater than 1000 in size as paginated results. PHP's ldap functions can handle paginated results o...

Re: Direct link to Read Only User Dashboards
There isn't a very good way to do that with dashboards at the moment. Plenty of standing feature requests for the functionality you're looking for though, so it's on the radar for sure. Unfortunately, our KB site is modular and we would need to buy the module to interpret JSON results. Is there a pa...

Re: Nagios agent capabilities
To clarify, Nagios as a company doesn't maintain any syslog agents (at the time of writing this). Nagios Log Server recommends rsyslog for Linux and nxlog for Windows, neither of which are projects we have any active involvement with. Having said that, both rsyslog and nxlog can handle forwarding. Y...
