Hi @3essescape,
You can use check_http to monitor both http and https urls's. Also for checking the ssl certs, I can advise you https://github.com/matteocorti/check_ssl_cert

Re: Again issue with Actions component after update to 5.8.0
@ssax Tell Jake he has a good memory..
Havent done the update myself, but I was told the xi components were updated automagically after updating xi. Can we toggle / disable the auto update of components in the update script?

Hello jvaira,
Centos 6 is deprecated since 30 November 2020, see https://wiki.centos.org/About/Product
You should migrate to CentOS 7.

Again issue with Actions component after update to 5.8.0
Hello, Some time ago we experienced breaking issues with the Nagios XI Actions component. If I remember correctly a support ticket or forum post was logged, but we cannot find it for now. So today we updated our Nagios QA instance to 5.8.0 and it seems like we have the same issue. Nagios Quick Actio...

Re: Nagios XI - Product Enhancement Suggestions
Nire feature request list :) Just wanted to add that this should be configurable: 20) Adding contacts to groups should be controlled from the groups side (and not be able to be added from contacts), please make only viewable from the contact side (drove me crazy tying to keep the in sync) As me and ...

You could also try https://github.com/OutsideIT/check_ms_win_tasks
It might produce better results (with the right parameters)

Re: upgraded 5.6.13 to 5.7.3 experiencing slowness
Hi @aiqbal88, Well we haven't managed to upgrade our 5.6.13 to 5.7.3 yet (already tried 3 times).. We keep having issue with status'es not updating after update.. Re: Nagios XI 5.7.2 - Event Queue Empty & Services Behaving
Hello,
We also tried to update Nagios XI from 5.6.14 to 5.7.2 which failed. The message queue was stuck at zero. SELinux is disabled.. My colleague Peter will create a support ticket with a system profile. In the meantime we restored a vm snapshot from before the update.

Re: SELinux support
Benjamin, Well the fact is that we have quite a bit of Linux servers with a whole range of applications on it and currently our Nagios server is the only one where we cannot enable SELinux...
