Re: monitor WebSphere Applicaiton Server on windows machine
It depends on what method you choose to check the system with. If you are using a plugin that runs from XI and connects directly to the websphere service then you shouldn't have to do anything on the windows system. But if you are trying to call a plugin which runs locally then you would need to set...

Re: DNX Master + Slaves - Load balancing.
The easiest way I can think of would be to designate host groups to the workers, you can do so through the configuration file. This way, you can control which slaves are running which checks, and since you are doing it by hostgroups, you can assign multiple hosts at once.

Re: performance graph
You could certainly try to grab the RRD's there shouldn't be anything different about the data within than there would be with rrd's created on a standard core server. Core integrates with cacti just fine so I'd give it a shot.

Re: Unable to strat the NSCLient Service
I'd highly recommend you take a look at the NSClient++ support channels as well as in this case it's not a direct issue with Nagios. I've not seen this problem before, so it was likely a fluke with the installation, or an issue with how it's being handled on the windows end. https://www.nsclient.org...

It's pretty simple, you just need to install it from source, any of the guides you find should do the trick:

You can run it while the service is running, or stopped, it's still going to grab the stuff that comes in as it is finishing up.

Re: Nagios-Web Application Development
The answer is no, from XI's perspective. However, like I mentioned, you could pull that data into your DBMS from the XI server and take a look at it there. Nagios XI uses a MySQL database for it's historical information, which is easy enough to connect into remotely once configured to allow that.
