In the meantime, were you able to check the mail settings and turn on the debug logging?
Also, are you expecting to receive SMS for all hosts and services on this XI or just for the specific ones?

Hello, @jwgill. I tested this on my XI in the lab and service description/service notes don't support free Variables. Perhaps you can add an echo line to your plugin output to show the command that is being used, and print it from a new line after the main output?

novisnagios , How much ram do you have on this server? Please double the memory_limit in the /etc/php.ini file and restart the apache with: service httpd restart From the command like run the "top" command and then generate a PDF report from the GUI. Let me know what the system load looks...
