Scheduled Maintenance and Best Practice
Hey Gents, I have 2 quiestions: One - Is there a way to disable the "OK" notification when I have hosts/services in scheduled maintenance? I don't get any of the downs which is great but all of the OK's are annoying. If I disable the notifications altogether I tend to forget to turn them b...

Re: Check_esx3 vfms warning and critical values
I apologize, I did not run it with a colon because I did not see it either. The output is correct. I have posted the results below so others can see as well. Thanks for the help! -c 5%: "/usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/components/vmware/cafaroesx73_cafaroco_com_auth.txt" -l "VMFS" -s Pro...

Re: Check_esx3 vfms warning and critical values
The reason why is because you are passing in -c 10% in the first command which makes the plugin output based on free space percent, look at the perfdata: Prod-VMs-Data-Drives=6.59%;;10 So 10 is less than 6.59 so it's OK, this is proper. I don't understand what your're trying to say. 10 is not less ...

Check_esx3 vfms warning and critical values
Hey Gents, Can anyone actually explain how the warning and critical values work with the vmfs command? I cannot ascertain how it is working with trial and error. Examples below: If I use -c 10 I get a return code of OK when there is 6.59% free < 10% "/usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/components/vmware/ca...

Re: Hosts become disabled after Applying Configuration
Wow, I didn't even know that was a thing, and had no idea that could be written in the config at all. Thank you. This can be closed.

Hosts become disabled after Applying Configuration
Hey Gents, I have the weirdest problem I have every come across. I have 42 hosts or so that notifications become disabled every time I apply a configuration whether there is a change or not. I'll explain further below: Step 1) I have 42 hosts in a Hostgroup all saying they are up but notifications a...

Re: Postfix mailbox too large
Thank you for the fix. Deleted the corresponding file with the 10.10.99.1 address and all is well. Checked my mail file and it is down to regular size.

Re: Postfix mailbox too large
Thanks for that reference. I was doing a quick read through and ran it to the last post about checking the mrtg.cfg and when I check mine I get this output. I cannot find any reference to the 10.10.99.1 address anywhere. [root@raptor-nagios ~]# LANG=C LC_ALL=C /usr/bin/mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg SNMPGE...
