Re: How to monitoring CPU cores on nagios XI
What are you trying to monitor? What do you mean by "normal parameters"? How are you running the command? What result do you get? Is there an error message? If so, can you post it please?

Re: NCPA crash on Windows 2012
When this happens, does the ncpa_listener service restart on it's own or do you have to start it?

Re: NCPA - '[Errno 104] Connection reset by peer'
Actually, the first command should be:
nmap ip_of_windows_host:5693
My bad. Copy/Paste mistake
nmap ip_of_windows_host:5693

Re: NCPA - '[Errno 104] Connection reset by peer'
Run these three commands from the command line on your XI host and post the results:
nmap https:ip_of_windows_host:5693
curl -v https:ip_of_windows_host:5693/ -k
telnet ip_of_windows_host 5693
nmap https:ip_of_windows_host:5693
curl -v https:ip_of_windows_host:5693/ -k
telnet ip_of_windows_host 5693

Re: NCPA - '[Errno 104] Connection reset by peer'
It looks like a firewall issue. Typically this would be the Windows server saying I'm here, and I'm listening, but I'm not going to let you connect. Can you think of any changes you made on the Windows server in between when it worked and when it didn't?

Did it work as expected at some point and then start giving you this error?

Our DHCP addresses change frequently, Like every couple days. Is there any workaround so I wouldn't have to change them on Log Server every time it happens?

Firewall and selinux question
Our XI host (XI 5.9 on CentOS 7) is plugged into a switch which is plugged into a Palo Alto firewall device. It seems redundant to be running a firewall on the OS. Can someone tell me how to turn it off? Also, we don’t require SELINUX and it drives me nuts. What’s the risk in turning that off and ho...
