Re: NSCA ocsp command not executing
Hi, there are no environmental variables used for this command, I have even removed the $USER2$ nagios rescource variable and used a full path to the command. I think there has to be something preventing this being executed via nagios. This command / config works in other distributed enviroments wit...

Re: NSCA ocsp command not executing
I tried editing the submit_service_check command to in nagios to use test data opposed to values: $USER1$/eventhandlers/submit_service_check "HOST1" "FAKESERVICE" 1 "Some Output Description" I also added a logger line to the submit_service_check to write to a file when ...

Re: NSCA ocsp command not executing
thanks for your reply.
I have set obsess_over_services=1
But this has not resolved the issue, the command is still not executed.

NSCA ocsp command not executing
Hi, I have an XI installation in which I am trying to get a subset of checks to send results to a central nagios instance using NSCA. In the check settings obsess_over_service is set to on. And the ocsp command is defined. However appears to not execute. submit_service_check command $USER1$/eventhan...

Nagios Core & Nagios XI Compatability Distributed
hi,
I operate a distributed monitoring system using NSCA with nagios core.
One of the locations I monitor have a configured XI instance.
Is it possible to 'drop' my configuration files in to this environment, in the same manner I would with a Nagios Core Instance?
Thanks
Mitchell

Re: Inheriting from multiple templates - notification probem
Thanks, The append should solve the issue. I know this approach seems complicated, and admit its not the best approach. But due to the distribution of the applications monitored, for different locations, some of which are the same checks, for different locations, this is the most effective template ...

Inheriting from multiple templates - notification probems
Due to the scale of my moitoring, I implement and inherit from a 3 templates for every service check (difering depending on the location, check type, and the template for a particular service check.
