Re: Not receiving alerts (flaps ?)
Which contact is the one in that group who did not receive a notification? You should get a notification when a host/service enters a flapping state, but all subsequent notifications while in the flapping state are ignored since it is changing states rapidly.

Re: getting problem with eximailqueue
Hmm, it probably doesn't have handing built in to just give you the straight number. You would want to be defining warning and critical values anyways correct? As you will be checking it? What happens if you queue a message and run the check? Does it pick it up when using -w and -c?

Re: Notification and check intervals
Once per day? Well you could define the time in minutes for an entire day, but that would be after the initial retries are met, so it would be skewed a little bit.

Re: getting problem with eximailqueue
Have you tried passing it a warning or critical value yet? Or using the verbose flag? I unfortunately have no idea what the output from:
would be.
Code: Select all
/usr/bin/sudo /usr/sbin/exim -bpc

Can you attach the plugin? Have you checked it's usage to see if it even outputs what you are looking for?

Re: check_nt Uptime
Well, one way to check that could be through the windows event logs, that would be pretty sure-fire. Uptime? You should be able to define min and max warning and critical levels:

Well, you can submit commands through the command pipe using:

That's what I'd recommend.
