Re: used/free ips per scope on the DHCP Server
it looks liek your variables aren't passing properly. take a look at this guide: https://docs.nsclient.org/howto/nrpe/ 3. yes - you'll need to write performance data into the plugin if it does not exist. http://nagios-plugins.org/doc/guidelines.html#AEN200 4. if the plugin does not do that, then you...

Re: Alerting each time a Value Changes
it sounds like you're adding a layer of abstraction to alert even when state is OK (or '0' to nagios). let me break this down a bit further. nagios looks at the exit code returned to determine what the status is, which could be 0,1,2,3. this then translate to ok, warning, critical, unknown. these co...

Re: Customizable report.
in my opinion, using hostgroups or servicegroups to report is smart because it reduces the amount of pages down by not needing one for every single host, rather looking at things from a higher level view. this document might help you create a report, and set a schedule: https://assets.nagios.com/dow...

there is a typo in your search - it should be 'weblogic', or as the guide states 'WebLogic'.

Re: Possible to get ping status from private ip machines
are your logs showing anything at all around a credential not working? based on the status it looks like it may not be executing because of this.

Re: Requesting clarification regarding Nagios Core Update
this should only update the actual application side - your configs, and plugins should all remain the same still.
if you have concerns, test in a lower environment first, or you could always take a copy of the nagios install folder at /usr/local/nagios/.

Re: NCPA reading memory wrong for terabite
the plugin that @mbellerue mentioned should work, what you'll want to do is run the plugin locally, and then trigger it using check_ncpa.
