Interesting today
I tested again and it worked on the check ran it 3 times came back with proper results.
But then later in the day I came back and tried again with same results.
Any ideas?

Troy, Do you mean vcenter vcsa? or just the ESXI host in question? I do have the same exact check on other ESXI hosts and they are fine.
