Thank you very much!
Can I utilise this from within my Windows.cfg file?

Missing Information from Nagios Core Alerts
It's me again. A lot of my alerts currently look like the following: ------------------------------------------------------- Notification Type: PROBLEM Service: Application - Notepad Host: Address: 10.15.18.115 State: WARNING Date/Time: Thu Aug 6 16:53:55 BST 2015 Additional Info: No data was receiv...

Trend Analysis Charts from Nagios Core
Good afternoon, The second main thing that I have been asked to investigate in Nagios Core is the production of graphs showing (for example) disk space usage for a given drive at 12:00 midday for the current day and the previous 10 days. I'd also be interested in producing similar graphs to cover CP...

How to monitor Apache Tomcat in Nagios Core
Good morning, Once again encouraged by the expertise within this forum, I have another question. My two test Windows clients use Apache Tomcat 7 to run the Jenkins continuous integration application. I would like to be able to send email alerts if Apache is down, but I'm not certain if I can do this...

Re: Configuring Nagios to send notifications via Exchange se
Folks, Thanks for your interest - the good news is that the problem is resolved. It was down to permissions - I was trying to use a Production Exchange server, which my Nagios server couldn't access due to firewall restrictions. Once I changed the IP address to that of our Dev Exchange server, my In...

Re: Configuring Nagios to send notifications via Exchange se
Following the advice from another Internet source (http://www.telnetport25.com/2012/02/configuring-e-mail-notifications-in-nagios-core/), within /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/commands.cfg, I also changed all references to "/bin/mail" to "/usr/bin/mailx" Should I undo these change...

Re: Configuring Nagios to send notifications via Exchange se
Good morning - apologies for not having got back to you sooner, but I've been on leave from work. So what you're saying is that PostFix should be able to resolve the "@WhereIWork" part of the email address and simply send my email alerts without me having to specify the name/IP of my Excha...

Re: Configuring Nagios to send notifications via Exchange se
At the moment, I just want to send it to myself pete.rooney@WhereIWork.com, whilst I'm testing it out. However, I'm eventually going to want it to send to distribution lists that are held on the Exchange server such as "developers@WhereIWork.com" Nothing external to the company either - al...

Re: Configuring Nagios to send notifications via Exchange se
I think I figured this bit out by adding the IP address of my exchange server to relayhost=99.99.99.99 to /etc/postfix/main.cf In /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/commands.cfg, I changed all occurrences of /bin/mail to /usr/bin/mailx Finally, in /usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/contacts.cfg I substituted ...
