It will only work when i ran the /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H (IP Adress of server) -c restart_service -a spooler than it will go back to its current state. You're saying that running this command manually changes what you see in the UI? That is impossible. when I run chown apache:nagios...

I added all the commands and yes the service checks works as expected in the web interface. it seems to create the testing.txt but no service restart would you want me to send my cfg file so you could take a look at it? skypete , Good.
