Post by sltn_support »

Hi,

Is it possible to add a Nagios core 3 server to fusion 4.x?

From the first, non-video result of Google by searching for "Nagios Fusion Core" I found this document: https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... erview.pdf

In it, it says:
Monitoring Server Requirements
Nagios Fusion can integrate with the following Nagios monitoring servers:
• Nagios XI version 2009R1.3 or later
• Nagios Core 3.2.2 or later
You will need to figure it out from here. :)

@eloyd, This article hasn't been updated for Fusion 4. Fusion 4 doesn't support any 3.x versions of Nagios Core. I believe that's because a never version uses JSON to pull the data, and that wasn't introduced until Core 4.x

So, depending on which version of Fusion you're running, it may support it, it may not. Time to update the article? :-)
