Nagios Fusion Authentication Error

Post by acvillaester »

Hi,

I have a weird error in Nagios Fusion about authentication failed.
Tried several users but still authentication failed error occurs.

It's just weird because it only happens in one Server, all other Servers worked.

Please see attached photo for reference.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Albert

@acvillaester, Could be HTTPS related. Are you using the latest versions of XI and Fusion? Is your Fusion also using HTTPS or not?

Hi,

We are using Nagios® Core™ 4.2.0 and Nagios Fusion 4 licensed.
Nagios Core using https and Nagios Fusion using http but we are working to move it to https.

Thanks.

I haven't been able to recreate the issue. I am running Nagios Fusion 4.1.4 (using http) and have a Nagios Core 4.3.4 (using https) fused to it. I don't see any auth issues.

This is probably a silly question, but have you confirmed that you could log in Nagios Core, using the test user's credentials? Also, have you looked in the /usr/local/nagiosfusion/var/log/auth_subsys.log on the Nagios Fusion box for some clues?
