How to monitror VMWARE 6.7 cluster resources with Nagios

Post by dlukinski »

Hello Nagios Support

VMA 6.5 was the last one created by VMWARE, whihc means that we coudl no longer monitor VMWARE clusters with a solution from box293

XI stock monitoring only does VMWARE hosts and their resources, but not the clusters?

Please help to understand how we could monitor VMWARE 6.7 clusters with Nagios XI

Thank you

I've create some instructions here on how you can deploy a replacement vMA on CentOS 7:

https://github.com/T-M-D/MSW/blob/master/Deploy.md

The plugin continues to function fine.
