Hi. When the testing an NRPE check like: /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_nrpe -H {remote host ip} -t 30 -c check_init_service -a 'sshd'
NRPE: Unable to read output, is the error message coming from the remote NRPE or the local (on the Nagios host) NRPE?
Thanks!

Re: Source of NRPE Error Messages
Usually this output comes from the check_nrpe plugin when it was returned no output, because the plugin returned nothing, or was misconfigured in the nrpe.cfg.awilson wrote:Hi. That particular command is special and usually required that the command be called with sudo and that a sudoers entry me in the sudoers file on the client
