NagiosXI 5.5.11 Service field length, Service not working

NagiosXI 5.5.11 Service field length, Service not working

I have configured a service it is long, service created by vender:

Failed to open service Allscripts.IHE.GatewayAdapter.3.6.1.4.1.22812.25.10147737.1: 1060: The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

All the other monitoring I've done are working so I'm assuming it's the length thats the issue.

It seems like your service has a dollar sign in the name. Have you tried escaping it with backslash and two $$ signs as described here?
