Service Escalation Management
Service Escalation Management
When I try to add a service Escalation, the services box is required; but I'm not sure what's to be expected there. When I click on the button to add something there, it's totally empty. Because this is a required field, I can't create a Service Escalation. Am I missing something?
Re: Service Escalation Management
1. You have to first select a host or hostgroup.
2. Then the service(s) "common" to all hosts will be available to be selected. In my test selecting a Windows and Linux host yielded just the "PING" service.
You should find that selecting a single hosts populates this with all the checks for that host.

hmm, that still doesn't seem to be working for me. I should note that I'm using XI.
Re: Service Escalation Management
Perhaps it's a browser comparability issue.
I'm using Firefox 3.6
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Re: Service Escalation Management
Why don't you walk though what you are doing, step by step. Include the full information about your Browser and it's OS.
