Setup a complete discovery in my network

Post by echonoc »

Hi All,

I want to know if there is any device that is not being monitored in Naios XI. I know there is a tool call Autodiscovery. My problem is that I need to found any device in my complete network that is not being monitored and NagiosXI asked me for a Ip range.

How can I indicate that do a discovery in all the network.

The autodiscovery wizard can accept CIDR notation. So if your network's IP and subnet are 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0, that would be shown as 192.168.0.0/24

This is a really good article that can help you translate your subnet to CIDR notation.
