Server time offset

Post by Baptist39 »

Hello,

I have a time problem on my nagios server.

I noticed that I had quite a few alerts with this problem, but I don't understand the discrepancy.

Currently, it is 3:41 pm but on the server :
Monday 14 November 2022, 16:03:06 (UTC+0100)

I have already made several changes, but I would like to know if this can be managed from the Nagios interface?
Because I still can't stabilize the time...

I am on Debian 10.13 Buster.
If you have a solution that would be great...
Thank you!

You need to sync to a time source using ntpd or chrony at the OS level, not nagios. Also set the timezone in the OS.

I had already tested with ntp, without success, then with timedatectl. I'll try Chrony, I didn't know, thanks.
Hoping to do better!

Subject closed ! Thanks.
I think that uninstalling ntpd solved the problem.
