CentOS to Deian migration
I’ve been a Linux enthusiast for 10 years. Debian has been my distro of choice for the last 6 years so I was happy when XI was ported to debian and ubuntu. I haven’t made the switch yet. I’ve been running XI on CentOS for 4 years but I’m thinking about installing it on Debian and migrating all my stuff. Is there a doc on what files I need to move to my new installation? Is it pretty straightforward? Anybody out there made the switch? Any issues?

Hi xi_whipping_boy,
The migration *should* be similar, but try it out in a test environment first just to be safe.
Check out the following PDF, and go to page 13 where it says Changed Operating System Version / Architecture / Family.
Let us know if you need anything else.
Thanks,
