NagiosXi migration issue

Post by KeroniMasingolir »

I have successfully migrated our NagiosXi server from Centos 6 to Ubuntu 20.04. Although the server is functioning properly, I have encountered an issue where making changes to services causes the "Manage Hosts" and "Manage Host Groups" options to disappear, preventing me from applying the changes. This issue persists even after upgrading to version 5.9.2 and running a Config File Permissions Check. I have also tried deleting files and writing config under Config File Management. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Hey @KeroniMasingolir

Sorry to hear that you are having these issues. Unfortunately migrating your XI across distros can have a lot of complications with it. When you modify a service, are the manage hosts and manage host groups buttons still there? If they are what happens when you select the hosts and then try to apply the configurations?
