unable to change checks, or add new ones

hi,
i have a problem with updating existing checks, or adding new ones.
I go to CCM -> services -> select any random existing check -> manage hosts -> remove existing assigned host, add new one, save. All good till here. I save the check and i'm back to checks list. Everything looks good, no errors, nothing, however if i go back to the check, the "manage hosts" shows "0", and the check is not assigned to any host. I'm then unable to apply the config, because my check is not assigned to any hosts.
All other settings save correctly. The same happens when i try to add brand new check.
Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with managing services in the CCM.

What version of XI are you using and what distribution are you using?
