Can you go through the following?

Code: Select all
service nagios stop

Code: Select all
killall -9 nagios

Code: Select all
rm -f /usr/local/nagios/var/retention.dat

Code: Select all
service nagios start

Then wait for the services to return new checks.

hmm, deleted the retention.dat, now all my hosts shows: 15860d-12h-50m-2s

I probably found the bug. When entering the actual host, it says: last state change: Jan 01 01:00:00s 1970 ?

So, it seems that the default state change date is: Jan 01 01:00:00s 1970 and if the state does not change, then we have an issue?
