Error failed to update data....

Postby Kilvador » Mon Oct 09, 2017 1:23 am

Hello to all!

I have installed VSHELL in custom dir: http://localhost/nagiosvshell and /usr/local/nagiosvshell

Now I have some problems: cannot get NagiosCore 4.3 status information (/usr/local/nagios, /usr/local/nagios/var - standart install). 500 server error, pink error messages on screen: Error failed to update overview data from the V-Shell2 API Today at 9:18 AM

Help me, please! What information do I need to provide?

Also, I have changed some text in frontend/index.html, this links were not worked:

What OS is your server?

Can you post your vshell.conf for the apache config.

Also, can you tail the apache error log ans see what errors are displaying when you try to access the page.

Thanks

Are all the paths in /etc/nagiosvshell.conf correct for your nagios install?

Also, is selinux enabled in your environment?
Code: Select all
getenforce

Selinux is disabled.

All paths are correct:

Do you know if you are using Nagios V-Shell 2 or some other version like V-Shell 2.x?

Also when you installed, did you use our Github or some other documentation? If so was it one of these?

https://github.com/NagiosEnterprises/nagiosvshell
OR
https://github.com/NagiosEnterprises/na ... l/tree/2.x

You may or may not have a bug, so if you could tell us which one that would help us in replicating your exact setup.

Thanks! I'm gonna have to try this myself when I am free today.

Will let you know if it works properly or not.

Also note, this version may not have made it out of beta, but we will see what happens.

Hi, sorry about that. Didn't have the time to before the week ended.

I tested it out and ran into some errors when using the 2.x link. Not sure, why?

Then I reran the V-Shell install but used the latest version available at
https://github.com/NagiosEnterprises/nagiosvshell

Then it worked just fine. I didn't mess with the index.php file, only with the htpasswd location in the config.php.

Are you able to install the latest version?
