CCM advanced management of user Permissions

Post by gomatze »

Good Morning,

would it be possible to build a permission Control for specific functions of the CCM in a future NagiosXI Version?

I would like to set up 1 or more NagiosXI Servers for other departments. For this i would want to set permissions on host activation only in the CCM Host control List to give them the Opportunity for Basic control. Maybe more in time. As the Systems are administrated by my Team we would not want these departments to have full control in CCM..

Or is it already possible and i have missed that function?

No, you didn't miss anything, currently if a user can access the CCM, they can see everything.
The granularity in the CCM has been asked for in the past by customers and may be added to future versions of XI.
