Postby gem » Sun Aug 03, 2014 11:53 am

Hi everybody,

Maybe someone can help me.

I Would like do an iphone app. I can't find anywhere how can I authenticate thru a login module so I can connect to nagios and get back data in my app.

I have no idea how this is possible, when I log via browser I get an authentication request, I would like do the same with my App.

Thank you in advance for any support.

Best regards,

Try this?

This isn't an Obj-C forum so you might have better luck asking on one. We can help with nagios-specific questions, but this seems more related to iPhone programming in general.

Hi tmcdonald,

Thank you for your reply, I will look the link that you suggest me...

I know this is a Nagios forum, but my problem is that Nagios is not based on a database like MySQL or SQL, so I don't really know how and where can I
control and authenticate my login data (username and password). :?

Thank you again for your support.

Wish you the best, best regards

The authentication is handled through Apache, so if you can tap into that with Obj-C (I'm not a iPhone dev so I don't know the limitations) it should be doable.
