Nagios Mobile connectivity

Postby cncallison » Tue May 12, 2015 4:50 pm

I've configured an externally published Nagios XI interface using Kerberos and I added DuoMobile (via PHP) for two-factor authentication.

I cloned the nagiosmobile directory settings into my external SSL virtual server's settings, replacing the authentication settings with my Kerberos settings and the URL won't load at all. In fact, it won't even try to authenticate my session - I just get a 403 Forbidden.

If the nagiosmobile is controlled by apache, why can't I change from Basic to Kerberos?

By all rights I would expect what you described to work - although internally we have not interacted with 2 factor auth - it sounds like it's abstracted from the kerberos integration with apache?

Did /var/log/httpd/access_log or error_log have anything revealing to say? Did you make sure that nagiosmobile worked with basic auth prior to switching to kerberos?
