Dropped Packets

Post by jgsupport »

Hi,

Is there a way to retrieve dropped packets or information about any problems/issues in the flows from one host to another.
I am trying to investigate an issue where the connection between two hosts are dropping randomly for under minute or so.
I am using this query to get some results but doesn't give a lot of useful information for troubleshooting.

(src ip X.X.X.X and dst ip X.X.X.X and dst port 1433 )

Thanks

There is not a way in NNA to filter on Dropped Packets or Packet / Data loss.

NetFlow data provide access to information concerning IP flows within their data networks.

Searching for data loss is more of a Protocol Analyzer function and the Netflow data does not have that data.
