Extracting max min and avg data from monitored data

Post by aurelia »

Hi,
I am using Nagios Core to monitor CPU stats, disk utilisation and memory on a Linux server. How can I get the max,min and avg data for every check interval? And also, does the status information given at the end of each check return data for the second during the check, or is it for the total check interval?

Nagios XI has this functionality natively
https://www.nagios.com/products/nagios-xi/

however, Nagios Core doesn't have built-in graphing or storing of results, so you will need an addon. The most popular of these would be pnp4nagios
