Hello Team,
We are using nagios server with version 3.5.1 on centos system, and its installed using YUM. The server is now monitoring more than 250 servers. Now we would like to upgrade the nagios server from old version to new version.
Could you pelase tell me how can we upgrade to latest version using YUM?
Thanks in advance
Upgrade nagios from 3.5.1 to latest version
Re: Upgrade nagios from 3.5.1 to latest version
Right now it's not in a functioning state on EPEL.
If you want to upgrade, I would suggest you spin up a new CentOS 6 or 7 VM and follow this directions to install Nagios Core 4.1.1. http://sites.box293.com/nagios/guides/i ... centos-6-7. From here you would be able to copy your configuration files over.
If this is not an option, I would stick with the version you currently have. I do not have an ETA on the EPEL fix, but I strongly advise you don't upgrade it in its current state.
