contactgroup is not defined

Hi All,

I keep getting this error:
"Error: Contactgroup 'aia-admins' is not defined anywhere
"Error: Could not add contactgroup 'aia-admins' to host (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/localhost.cfg', starting on line 24)
"Error processing object config files!

I cannot get nagios to pass the syntax check.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Can you show us the contents of:

/usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/localhost.cfg
/usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/contacts.cfg

@k2fujative1 you have defined "aia-admins" as contact while defining host or service in localhost.cfg. There should be a definition for same contact in "/usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/contacts.cfg".
Please validate the contacts defined in "/usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/localhost.cfg" and "/usr/local/nagios/etc/objects/contacts.cfg" and if "aia-admins" is missing please add it.
