Hi there

I am very new to Nagios, and am required to upgrade Nagios Core from 3.2.3 to the latest, 4.3.1 on REHL6.6

I have checked the install requiments and there is no version specified for below,
does it mean any version of below can work with 4.3.1?

httpd, php, gcc, glibc, glibc-common, gd, gd-devel, make, net-snmp, unzip

also, it seems like you can only install the latest version of Nagios x3 and x4 and not specific version?

Apologies if this has already been solved in earlier forum, I'd appreciate if any advice

You can find many versions at https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... rsions.php

If you are using an OS listed at https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=96 then version #s of the dependencies will not be a problem. If you are using something very old then I suspect you will run into issues. However, RHEL 6.6 should not present any issues in that regard.
