LDAP authentication with Apache2

Post by omalik »

Hi,

I am configuring new Nagios Core server according to the old one. Both servers are running on Ubuntu. I am trying to set authentication with LDAP in Apache2. I was searching for some instructions, but all I found, was for old folder system. In my server there is no httpd.conf file. My question is, which files I need to change and what I need to write in them, for working authentication.

Thanks a lot.

Following the steps in https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/n ... tml#Ubuntu, the config file would be installed in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled.

If search around the forums you'll likely find some information helping with the ldap setup. There is also the Apache docs:

https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... ilit=+ldap
https://httpd.apache.org/docs/trunk/mod ... _ldap.html
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.
