Hi All,

I have deployed Nagios Core 4.3.4 version on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. I want to monitor some tableau server services on my Nagios.

I have added the server on Nagios where my tableau server is running.Currently, the tableau server is running on this version 2018.2.4.

I am not aware how I can monitor tableau services on Nagios, Can someone help me here.?

I want to monitor below listed tableau services on nagios.

1. tabadminagent
2. clientfileservice
3. appzookeeper
4. licenseservice
5. tabsvc

In Nagios XI you could just use the Linux wizards to monitor the Linux services
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... g-NRPE.pdf

but with Core you will need to install the NRPE agent
https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=515

And then find a plugin to add to the server you install the NRPE agent on to monitor services, such as
https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... ce/details

It is worth noting that many service checks usually require adding the script to be able to have sudo access for the nagios user
