Post by dario.leon »

Hi,

I have a customer in Panama, they have Nagios XI, They wish to verify Specific alert of one file of logs, They are using Nagios Log Server trial, My question is:
If they want to put new alert, but that not appear in the option for new alerts, How could us include that for be views?.

Could I plan alarm for that on Nagios XI?.

Thanks in advance.

You can integrate NLS with XI and use the Log Server Integration Wizard to alert when a query meets a warning or critical threshold. https://support.nagios.com/kb/article.php?id=75 has steps to use the wizard and https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... Server.pdf covers creating queries in NLS. You could also configure NLS to send alerts via NRDP to an XI server - see https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... Server.pdf for details on that.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.
