Nagios LMS - Client Script Accidently Run on Server Itself
Nagios LMS - Client Script Accidently Run on Server Itself
It appears the client agent script was mistakenly setup on the server itself (terminal sessions mixed up). It's now sending logs to itself as a log source. Is there an easy way to undo this? Would I just create a localhost config filter to block logs looping to itself?

You could disable the local rsyslog service, or remove the nagioslogserver config file located in /etc/rsyslog.d and restart the rsyslog service.

Yes this should do it. For the record, this is done by default on install.mcapra wrote:You could disable the local rsyslog service, or remove the nagioslogserver config file located in /etc/rsyslog.d and restart the rsyslog service.
