Empty dashboard

Post by lukedevon »

Hi

I have configured port 514/UDP as default syslog receiving port in logstash. Firewall also enabled for the port 514 to external sources to send syslogs.

However, I don't see I am receiving logs from an external server and also at the time of activating the port 514, I don't see logs in the dashboard at least from the local host. The dashboard is empty.

where I have configured wrongly? Can somebody help me?

Thank you
Luke

Ports below 1024 are considered "privileged" in Linux. Did you follow the Nagios Log Server specific documentation for addressing this?
