I have tried to set up the Mail setting on the log server and everytime I test it I recieve this error
Failed to send AUTH LOGIN command. Error:
Unable to send email using PHP SMTP. Your server might not be configured to send mail using this method.

What version of NLS? What SMTP security setting is selected? Have you tried the other settings? Is the correct port defined?

I am running version 2.0.7 of NLS. I am using "NONE" as the SMTP security and port 587. I have also tried prot 25 and different variations of the smtp security. I am also using Nagiosxi and can send mail with that product using those settings......thanks

finally got it to work buy saving the settings and restarting the server.....thanks
