Nagios Log Server on RHEL7

Post by PerfEngg »

Hello ,

we are running nagios log server on RHEL7 server , we are using sudo not root , we are seeing lot of below messages from apache access , how to address these errors , we would like to suppress these logs , please can you shed some light on this

systemd: Started Session c34621 of user root
sudo: pam_unix(sudo:session): session opened for user root by (uid=0)
sudo: nagios : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/var/www/html/nagioslogserver/www ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/etc/init.d/logstash status
systemd: Created slice User Slice of root

Thanks,

Can you clarify what you mean by using sudo and not root? What changes were made exactly?
