Elasticsearch (ELK) Version

Post by pines »

Are there any plans or work in progress to come out with a new release of Nagios Log Server that will use a newer version of the ELK.
I noticed that the current 2.0 release is using a 2.4.x version of the ELK and ELK 7.0 was just released.
Let me know with a planned date if it is scheduled or in the works.
Thanks

Hi @pines,

You can follow the product roadmap here:

https://www.nagios.com/roadmaps/

We don't have immediate plans to upgrade the ELK packages. We value your feedback, so If there's specific functionality you're looking for please let us know.

I checked the Elastic End of Life Matrix and noticed that this version went into EOL in Feb 2018.
Is Nagios providing support for the Elastic Stack?
Awaiting your reply.
