RHEL 4 adding as a log source

Post by smendonca »

Hello Everyone,

I just setup a Nagios LS and i'm in the process of setting up log sources. Currently i'm trying to add a RHEL 4 server is there anyway to get these logs pushed over to Nagios LS?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

RHEL 4 reached end of life for production on 29 February 2012 several years before Log Server was released.

It is likely possible to send logs to log server from whatever syslog client is running on the server to Log Server, but this has not been tested by our staff for the reason mentioned above.

I'll leave the thread open, we may get feedback from another community member that has gone through the process.
