Re: Nagios Log server upgrade issue
This error looks like your yum repositories cannot find php-devel which is normally in the base repository. Is this RHEL or Centos? Do you have a base repository enabled?SrinivasanNSL wrote:HI Team,

Yes Scott. I have RHEL7 iso image mapped to /mnt and enabled the repo in yum.repos.d.
I could see the repo listed with yum repolist command

Re: Nagios Log server upgrade issue
You will have to go to RedHat website and see where it is located. While there they used to have a tool where you could just download the RPM which would also work

Re: Nagios Log server upgrade issue
Scott,
Any idea which URL the Nagios Log server upgarde script will contact to download PHP-devel and other components?
This helps in allowing the URL's in Proxy server to get the components directly

Re: Nagios Log server upgrade issue
the upgrade script would just run
and let the yum repositories figure it out but they don't seem to be working on your install
Code: Select all
yum install php-devel

This makes a lot of sense then.SrinivasanNSL wrote:HI Scott,

My recommendation is to perform the update after the license is renewed
