SNMP Traps configurations for Network Devices

Post by nitin.gupta111 »

Hi,

I am configuring Cyclades Servers for monitoring using SNMP Traps. I have following configurations,
1. I have opened the port 162(UDP) from the nodes to Nagios XI server.
2. I have uploaded the MIB files.

When I am asking to send the traps from the node to Nagios XI, both the nodes coming to snmptt.log, whereas one node it is coming under UNCONFIGURED OBJECTS, another not. How to solve.

Did you configure the unconfigured object using the instructions at https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ith_XI.pdf ?

I cleaned up all the services and hosts related to these appliances, than requested to raise the Traps. I got as per guidelines and able to complete the configurations.

Thanks for all your supports.
