To disable montioring on particular service on host
Please help to disable monitoring on particular service on registered host in Nagios XI.

There are a number of ways you could do this.
1. You could make the service inactive in the CCM. If you do this, you will need to make sure you apply the configuration after doing so. I suspect this is really what you want, but let me know if it isn't.
2. You could disable notifications for the service (this is not technically what you asked, but may be what you want)
3. You could delete the service in the CCM.
4. You could set the host into downtime (this is generally temporary, but may be what you are looking for).

I think that setting host into downtime would be the best way at first. This is temporary, so you can easily check if disabling monitoring won't cause any unexpected issues. Than you can use any way from 1 to 3 that dwhitfield mentioned
